Production sprint part 2: devlog #6
FOTOS AND BUILD NEEDS TO BE ADDED STILL
Our first production sprint has come to an end. This week, we focused on integrating the most crucial elements to make the game playable, although it still requires refinement to ensure a satisfying player experience and overall quality. this week was a lot of testing , redesigning and testing again.
Warre handled final touches on character and prop design, successfully creating the enemy and implementing animations.
Jonas made the asset tilemap and tested it in the playable map to get a feeling of what is right and what is wrong.
Ramses developed a scoring system and the room mechanic, where each room spawns a set number of enemies that players must defeat before advancing. He also implemented a camera that follows the average position of the players, ensuring they remain within the view, and finalized the collision and following system between enemies and players.
Jan completed the melee attack and linked the appropriate animations. Additionally, he added numerous animations such as bullet and gun animations. Pickups, including health and ammo, were implemented, and Jan adjusted various settings to enhance the shooting and stabbing experience against enemies.
