Still production sprinting fast: Devlog #8


Our game is getting more and more finished. Still there is a lot to be done but as we are coming near the end the product is feeling better and more finished like never before.

Jonas continued working on the map and made extra assets for filling in the more empty spaces. He also Worked on the collisions of those assets to let them integrate nicely with the map.


Warre started this week with a few tweaks here and there on the UI widgets. For the rest of the week his main focus was creating the title screen art. This is almost done and will be the starting focus for next week.


Ramses  worked on:

  1. UI Improvements: implementing individual ammo and health displays for each player.
  2. Global Score and Lives System: A new global score and lives system was established. With this, the total lives decrease every time a player dies
  3. Spawn System: A random spawn system was added, allowing players to respawn at varied points on the map after dying..
  4. Enhanced Animations: tweaked and improved animations for both enemies and players. All visual bugs were fixed


Jan worked on the aiming, the player needed to point in the direction that he shoots otherwise it felt bad that the player shoots from his back. the gun is now also shown behind the player when the character turns its back.  he also started the implementing of the sounds like the gun shots the enemy attack and the stab.
